Bad Terminator Design…

One thing that I’ve always wondered in the back of my mind, the T1000, why the hell are you carrying a gun in the future? Why isn’t that gun just mounted on your shoulder?

I mean seriously, isn’t that a bit ineffecient.. copying the limitations of humans, needing to carry big guns around? Can’t you kill better than that?

Skynet for all its awe in intelligence really drops the ball here on innovation. I get the idea that in a human-esque form, the T1000 should look human and thus perhaps carry weapons but in the ultra destroyed state of the future, that whole carry a gun around thing is just bad design. A seriously flawed vision of uber intelligence.

Take a page from the Animatrix, now those machines new how to kill. In fact in the spirit of Aliens vs Predator someone should do a SkyNet vs ZeroOne comic and lets just see how these AI nasties match up.
